This appliance is designed to supplement a current heating system.  It is not designed to be used as a primary heat source.
This appliance operates as an unvented room heater when fitted to a solid fuel burning masonry or UL127 approved factory built fireplace with the flue damper closed.  It may also be installed in an approved unvented fireplace.
WARNING: THIS IS AN UNVENTED GAS FIRED HEATER.  IT USES AIR (OXYGEN) FROM THE   ROOM IN WHICH IT IS INSTALLED.  PROVISIONS FOR ADEQUATE COMBUSTION AND VENTILATION AIR MUST BE PROVIDED.  REFERENCE NATIONAL FUEL GAS CODE NFPA 54, ANSI Z223.1.  REFER TO PAGE 2 OF THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS.
