Up for sale is my 1990 "Chupp and Son" G20 conversion van. I've owned this van for approximately six years. I bought it off the original owner and it was sold new here in NW Arkansas. The van has never been smoked in. I've put about 13k miles on it since owning it. Everything works the way it should. The only thing I've never been able to get to work, is the Nintendo. I've tested the NES outside of the van and it works fine, but I can't figure out how to get it to play on the tv inside the van. I'm sure it is something extremely simple.
The AC needs to be recharged every Summer. I usually throw a can or two of freon in it when the outside temps are really hot. It just started to drip a few drops of power steering fluid. I added some Lucas stop leak, because the leak is so small. The van really needs to be driven consistently to see if that fixes the problem. The passenger side mirror got broken by a rock from my lawn mower. I will have a replacement for it at the time of sale. The driver's seat shows wear, and the first captains chair in the back has had the same spot where the stitching has come loose. It hasn't gotten any worse and should be fixed by a upholstery sewer. The color in the two pics of the captain's chair looks different because I took the pic inside my shop and not outside.
The valve guides on the 5.7 do cause a puff of smoke when it starts, but it clears up in a few seconds. This is a typical problem for 90's GM V8s. It doesn't do any damage to the engine, its just a bit embarrassing.
Items I've replaced/maintenance:
Ball joints
Tires
Alternator
Spark plugs
Air filter
Regular oil changes
Freon
This has been an OUTSTANDING vehicle. Only selling because I don't use it as much as I used to and I want to buy a newer truck. I've towed a small, single axle camp trailer with this van and it does great. This van gets a lot of attention and compliments. The paint is all original and very shiny. It does have normal wear and tear from 99k miles of use. Most of these vans were used and abused. This one has been garaged its entire life and it shows. Please email or text me with any questions. I'm setting a reserve on this van, please do not email me to ask what the reserve is, just bid on it and you may be the lucky winner. Any rude or insulting comments will be ignored.
NOW FOR THE FINE PRINT
This van does not come with a warranty. Please only bid if you have the funds. The ending price is the final price, you can't show up and try to lowball after the auction. Ask all questions prior to the end of the auction. You can call or text me @ 479-721-7097. Full payment will need to made before the vehicle leaves. I prefer cash or wire transfers.
